The 3 areas

The 3 areas

1. The Serre-Chevalier ski area

The Serre-Chevalier ski area is one of the largest in the region. It covers more than 250 kilometres of runs, offering a variety of itineraries to suit all levels of skier. Whether you're a beginner, advanced or expert skier, there's something for everyone here. With altitudes ranging from 1,200 metres to 2,800 metres, the resort enjoys exceptional snow cover and breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The variety of slopes, from the quietest to the most technical, makes it an ideal playground for families, sports enthusiasts and adventurers alike.

2. The Briançon area

The Briançon sector, which is the highest part of the area, is particularly popular with experienced skiers. It offers more demanding runs, with steep slopes and technical sections. This area also benefits from quality snow, thanks to its altitude and favourable orientation. Briançon is a historic resort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the oldest fortified towns in France. After a day on the slopes, visitors can enjoy its rich cultural heritage and friendly atmosphere, with picturesque little streets and historic buildings.

3. The Chantemerle ski area

Chantemerle is the area that attracts families and beginner skiers, thanks to its gentler slopes and facilities suitable for everyone. The area also boasts a host of modern facilities, including state-of-the-art lifts and ski schools for children and adults. Chantemerle offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, ideal for those who want to enjoy skiing in peace and quiet. It also offers beautiful views over the valley and the town of Briançon, adding a pleasant and relaxed setting for winter sports.
