Flaine is part of the Grand Massif ski area which links it with the resorts of Les Carroz, Samoëns, Sixt Fer à Chevel and Morillon. With more than 265 km of slopes culminating at an altitude of 2500 m, skiers here will enjoy exceptional snow conditions, as the resort is located in the heart of a natural cirque. 

From the Grandes Platières summit you can admire one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Alps, with a 360° view on the Mont-Blanc, the Aravis, the Belledonne and a part of the Jura massif.

A family resort

Flaine is a family ski resort with many easy access slopes allowing you to go around its domain. 

A must do: A beautiful blue run of more than 14km will make you enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the Natural Reserve of Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval.

For freestylers, the resort has one of the biggest snow parks in the world with the Jampark de Flaine reserved for expert freestylers with its very special atmosphere. 


For powder lovers, the Combe de Gers will offer you exceptional snow for a magical freeride session. 

Feel like Nordic skiing?

The Col de Pierre Carrée at 1900 m will give you access to the Nordic area via a free shuttle that runs every day. A beautiful area for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
