There are a lot of things to do in Chamonix besides skiing, like going up to the Aiguille du Midi, taking the Montenvers train or the Mont-Blanc tramway... Impossible to get bored here.
Discover the ski area of Chamonix
Its ski area is called the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley, which includes the ski resorts of Vallorcine, Les Houches, Argentière, Servoz, Les Contamines and even Megève.
The large ski area of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc ranging from 950 m to 3300 m altitude will offer you more than 120 km of slopes on 4 mythical areas: La Flégère, Le Brévent and Les Grands Montets, Balme and Les Houches.
If you are a good skier, go to the Grands Montets sector, renowned for its magical off-piste skiing, the steepness of its ski runs and its beautiful snowpark. Beginner skiers will prefer the Balme sector with its more accessible runs through a magnificent forest.
The Brévent - La Flègère sector will offer you the unique privilege of skiing facing the Mont-Blanc on sunny slopes thanks to its southern exposure.
