Frontside position : the snowboarder is leaning on his toes.
Backside position : the snowboarder is leaning on the heels
Back and front are used for rotations.

Dead leaf or pendulum : this allows the snowboarder to go slowly down the slope by skidding to the left, then to the right, and so on. The trajectory resembles that of a falling leaf.
Traverse: this is a movement in a direction transverse to the slope.
